We have great staff and volunteers, who work hard to:
- make sure our projects are delivered to the highest possible standard
- Future Champions has a great working atmosphere, training opportunities and progression
routes for staff and youngsters alike.
- that our partners and our youngsters are learning in a structured, well taught,
enjoyable environment by skilled staff.
Please meet below, the co-founders of Future Champions UK:
Felipe Alves de Souza is founder of the BJJ School in London and well known in the world
of BJJ. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he is an innovator of teaching methods for children. Our RDR Training
methods are based on the success of his practice. He is an invaluable Trustee of Future Champions.

James Hussein is from London, and has been involved in sports and youth work since
he was a teenger. An excellent speaker and motivator, he is passionate about the benefits of martial arts and all
sports for behavioural development, intergenerational understanding and community interaction.
His interests are Football, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, reading and writing. He is the Future Champions Director
of Development.

Farah Islam is from Manchester, and has recently returned to the UK from Japan
where she was based for nearly ten years. She specialises in Social Development, Education, Project
Development & Management, and Inter-cultural issues.
She is an armchair sports fan ( K1 and Football) although takes part in kick-boxing and boxing
for exercise and health. She also enjoys playing music, singing, travelling and cinema.
She is currently a Fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneurs 2009/10 in London, where she is developing
Future Champions UK.

May we also introduce:
Antony Chahal is from London and our very own real-time current Champion. He is the
'Brazilian Jiu Jitsu European Champion 2009' after winning Gold
at the BJJ European Championships in Lisbon 09. He has been assisting James teaching the youngsters involved in
our pilot project at St Lukes school.
He will be undertaking our RDR training in summer/autumn 09. Antony is a great coach and role-model
for the youngsters. We are extremely fortunate to have him on our team.

Carol Ong is from Malaysia. She is a Level 2 certified football and badminton
coach. Her passion for life is shown by her wide ranging interests, which include nature, the outdoors, healing
and complementary therapies. She is passionate about opportunities for girls and is invaluable to Future Champions
UK as coordinator and creator of the innovative City Garden Project. Her interests include
football, supporting Chelsea (less said about that the better..) travelling, music and cooking.
